    Elishewitz/George Cerberus

I picked this up from Les George a couple weeks ago and thought I'd share a little. I've been interested in Les's work as well as Allen's for some time now but never pulled the trigger on anything, seemed like there was always something else next in line. However, when I saw this model as a combined effort I decided it was time. I've never handled a flipper before so this was kind of a leap of faith. I have to say that I'm pretty happy with this knife. The flipper design is alot nicer than I expected. Very smooth, doesn't require any wrist movement, just a swipe of the fore finger and she's open and locked up like a tank.

This knife is an absolute beast with a blade size similar to my Strider AR yet a smaller frame.

    One next to my SMF.

The frame is thinner too and it carries/conceals very well.

All in all, I'm real happy with this knife and plan on giving it more of a workout as I get more used to it. I've not used it at work yet but it has seen quite a bit of pocket time and performed some minor chores. I saw a report on the 1911 Forum with a Spyderco cutting up some grapes after doing some whittling. I didn't have any grapes but I did cut up a little stew meat for the dogs dinner....

One shot of the other side (not the best pictures).

Looks like a big usable knife. SMF is my regular EDC.

So this the blade finish a flat grind with stonewash and polished upper? Is that how you would describe it?

Yes, sorry for the crappy pics. I've lost my touch for some reason.

I am pretty sure this is hollow ground, but Les would know best.

You're right! It is a little concaved from the edge to the polished point. Don't know why I forgot that, been a long day....

I think that is a hell of a knife. Love those big folders...flipper, even better. Nice catch.
