I feel like I'm putting this thread to shame posting my humble bali, but here's my first bali, it certainly wont be my last though since I'm addicted

You don't have to feel ashamed !!!!!.... I used to start to flip balis with two of that "brand" ( a clip point bowie and a tanto...). Of course, there were not as beautiful as those custom made, but they were worth the money spent, I was a teenager and I get addicted to honed steel....Originally Posted by Pyro

Wow... I forgot all about this one! I was just rootin' through a big plastic box containing knives and found this one! Here's what I found out about it:Originally Posted by Mr.LaBella

... OAL - 9"
... not sure of the blade steel but it will gouge into whipped butter with ease.
... according to the box & paperwork, this beauty was bought in 2001 from HSN for the amazing price of $12.95!
... best I can make out, this one was made by that prolific knifemaker - Rost Frei.
Itís taken 9 different dogs and 65 long years to makeme the gentle, patient, mellow man that I am today.Donít be fuckiníwith me and piss me the fuck off!
I've now got a spyderfly which is better balanced, but seems a little trickier to flip and it doesn't make a very satisfying sound, now I need to get better with it so I can justify buying moreOriginally Posted by TALEL
A Spyderfly... A good choice. Pyro, you're on right way.
Here's my only current bali, a Fred Perrin wharncliffe.
NICE! Love the brass handles.:coolkid:
Well, now I did yet another trade with Inkster, and got myself the BM trainer. I wanted to start trying some of the fancy stuff, and was to much of a candy ass to do it with a "real" one. Note to self...it still hurts if you bounce it off yer head...
figured now would be as good a time as any....
here are my two bali's
First is a 1 of 4? all blacked out Microtech BlackFly. Sweet stuff!
and next is my custom anodized Benchmade 42 with spring latch. Boy this thing has some history!
Looks damn good dibbles.
I still have nightmares about those handles

A coupla more FHM. I think they are Pandayan, and a Taylor/Seto Golden Dragon from the 80s.
A few DDR kits.
One set of handles I "fizzed". It gave me a HUGE apreciation for Matt Cs. work.
The standard stuff-
Spyderfly and Arc ANgel
Benchmade of course-
41SS- I avoid Ti handled Benchmades like the plague
a 42 and a 46 coated.
Coupla dragonflys and a tachyon.
Thanks Mr. LaBella
A coupla Korths, le piece de resistance, Terry Guinn Snake Bali, #3 Time Bomb, and a Pabu Cutlery pearl inlaid damascus traditional bali
And for kicks, the minis w/ the pabu
