    "Etched-Cherry" Spear-point Hunter

I received this knife today and I would like to personally thank you for such a great knife and commend your flawless craftsmanship.

The design is beautiful and my whole family was impressed even before I got the knife out of its pouch. Even my non-knife friend liked it. The sheath is great looking and goes really well with the cherry burl handle.

I am extremely pleased with it. The handle feels very light with the wood and the ergonomics are fantastic. It's got all the right curves in all the right places. The bronze guard and pin give it just the perfect amount of flash.

The pictures you took are great, but they can't compare to having it in hand.

    Thanks again Mr. Neilson!

A king may move a man, a father may claim a son, but that man can also move himself, and only then does that man truly begin his own game. Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone, even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power. When you stand before God, you cannot say, "But I was told by others to do thus," or that virtue was not convenient at the time. This will not suffice.

I'm glad you like her bud. She was a beaut.

I made a Skinner that matched as well because I liked this one so much.
    Thanks again,
    J.

Here is the same knife after about a year and a half. Its developed a very nice patina from use and the most impressive thing about it is that it strops back to hair popping sharpness with only a couple of passes.

That cherry burl sure looked sweet on there. Got any pics of that after you've had now a year? Larry

It's still looking damn fine, just feels a little drier.
