Cool Mod harkins triton d/a otf--fs/ft

Up for sale is a new MOD Harkins Triton double action out of the front with partially serrated Tanto blade. This is one of the last of these knives ever produced: they are now out of production The only differences between recieving this from the factory and from me are that I had to cut the silver tape the box is sealed with to open it, its been fired a few times to check function (but who knows how many times QC does it), and it will be shipped in the sheath rather than display style.

This is a very well designed OTF. I have a Benchmade Infidel and I personally believe they're just about equal. The firing button is far better designed with different angles and texturing for firing/retracting and the jimping is fantastic. "Wingwalk" traction inserts really complete the package. This knife is a testament to what a solid and innnovative company Masters of Defense was.

Fun fact: this knife was in Quantum of Solace but was a dagger variant. Cool knife, more practical blade design.

Pictures provided on request. (here's a good photo: http://216.71.158.68/webcat/modharktritonsbt2.shtml)

Not my video, but what you'll get:

    From the manufacturer.

"The MOD Triton represents the pinnacle of out-the-front automatic knives. Based on knifemaker Jeff Harkins' award-winning custom design, the Triton mechanism provides safe, reliable spring-powered opening and closing with an incredibly secure blade lock-up. Like all double-action out-the-front knives, the Triton is primarily intended as an expression of knife engineering and craftsmanship, as well as a light-duty tool and backup weapon. Its precision-machined aluminum handle, spring-steel pocket clip and wingwalk inserts complement the 154CM blade and advanced operating mechanism to make this knife the true definition of the “state of the art” in front-opening automatic knives.

    Specifications:
    • Blade Length: 3.600"
    • Overall Length: 8.450"
    • Blade Thickness: 0.125"
    • Blade Material: 154CM High-Carbon Stainless Steel Alloy
    • Blade Style: Japanese tanto or double-edged dagger
    • Blade Finish: Black Tungsten DLC Coating
