    WIP thread... the mega Sienna

    OK LaBella, you win. Here is my WIP of my latest folder, the Sienna. I've scaled it to three sizes, this being the largest.

    No fancy equipment in my shop. All is done by hand with manual equipment.

    The customer sent a Commander as a go by in terms of size. He asked to enlarge from that a bit.

    The blade:



    Some have already seen this, so sorry if you find it boring.

    And here it is profiled next to the smallest of the model. The megga is CPM 154CM and the mini is stainless damascus.

    Handles are .95 Ti... profiled, drilled, tapped etc.

    Thanks guys. Next step was to drill and tap some holes and shape the bolsters. If they look thick now, that's because they are. The steel was supplied by the customer and he was fine with half being taken off. You'll see why.

    OK busted. Stainless dammy for the bolsters heat treated in my shop:

    Love your work, everything just looks "right" the handle, bolsters and so on....
