I guess we could call it a Bravo-Folder but I think that is a bit too Generic.

    I'm certainly open for suggestions.

I heard that but I still think it's kind of limiting for us because we will want to into other blades and handle options in folders so they all can have seperate names.

I am not going to suggest any names but I would suggest a theme if you are going to have different options e.g. American Indian names, or something where the name in itself is interesting and will make people want to read up on the meaning of the name. The theme will also tie all the knives together as a series and by simply seeing the name, people will recognize it as a Bark River folder.

Not that I am saying you should copy anybody else but someone from my hometown of Durban South Africa has done that with great effect.

OK, I was not going to say it but here is my pet peeve. Whenever marketing types wanna make something sound bad-ass / individualistic / pioneering whatever, they have to end it with "er" or "or", especially in cars.

Navigator, Marauder, Freelander, Interceptor, Mariner and whatever else they can tack "er / or" onto.

No offence to members here whose member names end with that - you are people. Products are not.

Don't take this too seriously, but it does annoy me. Just a little. Maybe.

As much as I like your knives, any "er" and "or' will not get my money.

Ascender, Avenger, Aviator, Challenger, Explorer, Forester, Highlander, Raider, PT FUCKING CRUISER, Ranger, TrailBlazer, Voyager, Wrangler. Who have I not offended yet?

Ron Wanted to call it the Monkeyer or Monkeyor.

I guess we can shoot that one down now too.

Ron is likely to be upset but I'll side with you on that.

    "Bravo Groove"

    "Bravo Crease"

    "Bravo Tuck"

Just trying to pair bravo with synonyms for folding. There is probably some better ones.

I just figured Outlander because it was the only folder amonst all the fixed blades that Bark River makes.

Whatever Mike and crew pick, it'll be good. I love all the names they've picked so far.

    We wants the folder, yesssssssssssssssssssssssssssss.....

How about "Grail" for a name?

Okay I was kidding about that... Grave Dancer is a bit well...gnarly... To bad about "Workhorse" being taken, as that is what it is screaming at me...

I guess "Bark River folder Mk 1" is too boring....
