Smile -----WIP and what's on the bench thread ------

check here for what i'm currently working on.
i'll start with fishmonger's blades.i was not well for the past 2 weeks so i didn't get much done on that, but i did mess around with the scales so i have some pics of those.
these are a part of a batch, and i forgot to take more pics
i'm re-grinding these blades at the moment so should have more pics soon.

the scales are profiled in the 1st pic.
2nd - i have shaped, bevelled and buffed the face of the scales.
now this might seem ass-backwards to some but i have learnt that it's best to profile the scales before the blade is nice and shiny and picks up "character".

    thanks guys.
i ground the flats on all the blades, except the 1st from the left,it's a proto and i'm not sure what i want to do with it,but it will come to me.
i would have finished grinding the bevels but i had to take my father to the hospital, nothing too serious, but he's ok now.

    thanks Ricky.

i finished regrinding all the blades, put the scales on the utilities [1st 2 on the left] as those are machine finished.
i had to make up a harpoon [3 rd from left, birthday present for a guy from his wife],that's ready for ht.
i still haven't decided what i'm doing with the recurve [4th from left] so i haven't done anything with that.
