I am currently installing a french drain in my unfinished basement. let me add I HATE spiders add the two and i found myself with a large wolf spider crawling up my leg as I was working a small :tears: jackhammer
Screaming like a 5 year old girl I ran around the basement trying to dislodge the arachnidspider 0 size 12 foot 1
I sprayed the basement with 2 cans of RAID now I don't feel so good :hityou:
Feel free to blame this all on my people for trying to invent things
Whats a french drain?
It's like a hole for water to go into so it goes away from the house. Just like a regualr drain, although I'm not sure what exactly the difference is :???:

French Drain = trough dug completely around the inside of the foundation with perforated pipe installed into it draining either directly outside into a dry pit or inside into sump pit. Covered with blue stone then repour slab and you are done. Crappy job to do and spiders won't hurt you missaman but raid will......

Just clearing it up for those who think that it is "just a hole" and spiders squish to easy to kill and body hair on chicks is icky
