This one's not too shabby. I'm not sure how the Standard UDT fits in size wise in the UDT Family but on the pics it looks just like an L-UDT. Not a bad price either.

"No legislative act, therefore, contrary to the Constitution, can be valid. To deny this, would be to affirm, that the deputy is greater than his principal; that the servant is above his master; that the representatives of the people are superior to the people themselves; that men acting by virtue of powers, may do not only what their powers do not authorize, but what they forbid."
Thanks. Are all of the UDTs labeled simply "UDT" medium sized. I see guys selling some M-UDTs...I just wanted to know if there was a difference between the two or there was actually a Microtech badged "M-UDT". Just curious so I kow what I'm shopping for. I know the "UMS" is the same size as my "L-UDT"...gets confusing. The only difference I can tell from the UMS and the L-UDT is that the UMS has grip inserts and the UDT has ribs...both are sweet.

In the case of the Medium sized UDTs, there were two variations/runs.
The "M-UDT" came first ('99), and has Kraton inserts. Besides some Production (machine ground) ones, includes the *Custom/HG* variations such as the Brends and the Dagger Logo ones:
The later "UDT 2000" had no inserts, just the milled handles and represents the most numbers of the Medium sized UDTs. Didn't include any Custom/HG variations besides some machine ground Damascus versions:

Damn! I had no idea they made sexified UDTs. That is one helluva collection of UDTs man. Very nice. I dig the dagger logo branded ones but those polished version are just gorgeous man....beautiful. I thought I was slick for having one of the sterile damascus versions!

Lots of us afflicted collectors out there SC...
The two in the first pic I posted above are Brends. IMO in their own league as far as grinds go, with the signature sexy sweep of the primary bevel Walter's trademark.
Below is a rare piece that Tony ground for himself almost 15 years ago. I've heard there's another like one out there that he ground for his son, but have never seen it posted.
Huge Double Hollow grind with an almost mirror finish referred to as "High Satin". Even the spine is rounded and polished. It's scapel thin and light, making it the fastest Side Opener in the case. Titanium handle, polished hardware, and anodized Blue Ti clip.:
Since we're talking UDTs, an *art shot* of few other ones for the hell of it. The Sterile Red one was replaced with a Dagger version to match the Teal one:

Man that is a righteous pic. I truly have a long way to go in my collecting. I've only been in the game a short time. There truly are some amazing works of art out there.
