A friend recently returned from a trip to Scotland where she took part in a fiddle concert tour with her group. I am trying to put together a photo album for her trip and I need some assistance with the names of the locations seen in the photos.

Soup Monger.... can you help me with this?

Ok...

1. Is the Great Hall at Edinburgh Castle

2. Is Edinburgh's Scott Monument with Sir Walter Scott lookin a bit glum.

3. Is a view of the camera obscura in Edinburgh.. where you can go into a darkened room and see the entire city projected onto a white dish via a periscope.

4. Is St Giles cathedral on the Royal Mile... I live beside it for 12 years.

5. Is the Edinburgh Balmoral Hotel... for those that can afford it.

6. Is the top section of the Scott monument.

7. Is the S.E.C.C concert hall in Glasgow.

8. Is Dynamic Earth (Edinburgh)... Salisbury crags in the background.

9. is a red herring.. you just threw that in to confuse me.... right?
