I have good news and bad news - depending on how you are about these things.

I have decided to order the latest JD forum knife. I conducted a POLL at the Mickley household and the vote was unanimous.

It will be in solid aluminum frame, red satin finish with black hardware. The JD logo will be on there as it was on the last one. This is for the medium Brend Protech. The blade will be satin finish.

I don't have a final price yet but as soon as I finish up the details with Protech, I will list the price and let you all start your pre-ordering. Pre-ordering/paying saves you $25. I will let you know when the listing is up active on my web site.

Part of this order is also a special run of 20 for a company of soliders in the shit in Afghanistan. We'll (Tubtar and I) will be looking for knife sponsors there. Protech will be kicking in another 5 for this cause.

Anyone that wants to bitch about how this is going down should send their comments to null@numbnuts.com or better yet pony up $10 grand and do it themselves so I can cancel my order.

I'm in and I'd like to donate for our soldiers. I don't know if I can swing paying for my knife and one for our boys, but I'd like to donate something.... At least that $25 that I'd be saving with a pre-order. Tracy, you're a gem for doing this. And I have much respect for you and John for getting some good blades into the hands of some fine soldiers.

This is great news and I am definitely down for one of these.
As I related to you ( Tracy ) , I am doing two runs for soldiers this year.
One from Protech with Tracy and Dave's generous help , and there will be another with the Bark River Bravo 1 's very shortly.
There will be a post announcing details on how to contribute in the coming days and I / we / they appreciate all you guys and gals do to make this possible.
The Protech run will be going to a team that features our own Roadfish's son as their medic.
The second is a team that is working with one of my former colleagues over there in club shithole.
Between the forum knife , the knives for the troops and the pen deal that is happening any day now , I feel like Navin R. Johnson when the new phone books came out.

Minor update. These are due to deliver in 3 weeks. Start gathering your sheckles.

There will be one of each numbered 666 to raffle off that will be donated. One in the JD forum version, the other in the military one we are doing.

The JD version will be numbered sequentially (#1 through 60) as before. #1 and #2 are spoken for already. If you were in on the TR3, you can request that number again and I'll try and get you that one during the prepaid process.

No prices yet but soon.
