I've had it happen on a few occasions, but not so deep. However, when I was a kid, I sliced my hand right and proper with a razor blade and just the faintest little trickle of blood was produced. I was shocked and amazed. I taped it up or something, because I didn't want my mom to know I was playing around with that shit.
It doesn't have to be sharp though. My sister once fell off a chair in her room, and landed on a fucking bookend. It had sharp corners, but in no way could it be considered sharp. That fucking wound in her knee was deep as hell and about 2-1/2 or 3 inches long. The fat globules were peeking out around the edges, but there was just one little line of blood running from the wound. Sorry no pics. I would have thought she would have bled all over the fucking place, but she actually bled very little.![]()
Gonna miss you, SugarSkull.

Depends on where you're cut. Some places are more vascularized on the surface than others.
When I put a hole in my ankle by dropping my BM31S into it, there was practically no blood. Freaky, because I could see the layers of skin and into the fat. It didn't hurt either, until the next morning when I woke up and couldn't move my foot or put weight on it (x-ray showed I bruised the bone).
Years ago I dropped a pressed "cut" glass bowl that shattered into about a trillion pieces. One shard went into my my hand about 3/8". I pulled it out, there was no blood, and seconds later I couldn't find the wound. The wound had instantly healed itself.
In biology class, I accidentally jabbed my scalpel into a lab partner's finger (or rather, he jabbed his finger into my scalpel), and same thing. There was a tiny bit of blood that stained the inside of his rubber glove, but after that, we couldn't locate the actual cut.
Ditto on vascularized surfaces! I have had numerous cuts / incisions in my life time. Some times the smallest slice and I bleed like a stuck pig, other times I have made it damn near to the bone with nothing but flesh and muscle tissue!

Yep... thinking back... when a falling grinder ripped open the top of my hand, there wasn't that much blood then either. That fucker too showed a bit of bone and was about 1.5" in length with torn edges. There was some blood, but it seems like there should've been a whole lot more.
I hit my knuckle on a grinder too, when I was younger, that one was deep and a small oval shape. It was just a blueish white in the center with a bit of red on the edge. I figure the heat from the wheel semi-cauterized that one or something.
Sometimes though, like themicrotech said, you bleed like a stuck pig from the smallest cuts... especially if you are out working in the heat or have been taking a lot of aspirin.
Gonna miss you, SugarSkull.
never saw a knife cut not bleed at least a good one. but I did watch my cousin walk into an old school Stihl, the ones that kept the chain turning the whole time it idled. We were about 10 and carrying wood to the truck after our dads cut it. he walked right into and kept on going. I went nuts because I just saw the back of his leg come off. My uncle heard me screaming Corey your leg, you cut your calf off." fastest I ever saw my uncle move, jumped the back of the truck and sure as hell his leg was pretty thin in a 6" swatch. they threw us in the back of the truck and the race began.
the doctors said it cauterized itself. good thing the saw was hot.

Pfft... never have that happen to me... Jon's newest knife bit me the other day and it bled like crazy... Of course, he was worried about the blood hurting the carbon steel.![]()
I've had lots of paper cuts that didn't bleed but hurt like the dickens! Only times I got cut by a knife... I bled. Some took a minute or two but they eventually bled.
It’s taken 9 different dogs and 65 long years to makeme the gentle, patient, mellow man that I am today.Don’t be fuckin’with me and piss me the fuck off!
glad to hear there was no blood but still......

When I was a kid, I cut the entire palm of my left hand on a zipper, and never felt it. I only noticed it when I went to grab the monkey bars.

Thought I'd try shaving with a straight razor.
Didn't work out so well. My work mate asked what happened, looked as if plate glass was penetrated by my face. One wash took care of the blood and the cuts were healed by the next day.![]()

Check out the big brain on Cadi.
My best non bleeder was a forearm cut, made by a piece of corrugated metal on the roof of the shed. I threw a 2x4 on the shed roof and got a 2" gash that showed fat, tendons and muscle. I was cleaning up for a party so it got the duct tape treatment. I kept it dry and it healed nicely.
