Sarge Quality Knives and Lights...?

I just read a write-up in the latest Blade:in Spec Sheet,Kim Breed gave a SK-80BL liner lock folder from SARGE Knives a good run. Anyone know of this company? The eval of this knife seems pretty impressive,and get this;unless it's a typo...the MSRP is $17.95 !!!!!!!! (specs: 440 series blade:Rc 59-60,anodized,knurled textured aluminum handles,titanium liners,liner-lock) I'm off to http://sargeknives.com/ right now...

That is the problem with Marketing Driven Editorials.

I certainly Understand it-- but we don't have to like it.

Some of the knives are blatant copies, the site gives no real information on blade steels or where these are actually made. So is $17 plus change a deal or a chance? We'll have to see. I'll stick with my Spydies and Benchmades thanks...

I also always believe everything I read in magazines.

just heard from SARGE:folders are 440 series stainless,Rc 59-60,made in china...for a throw-away,$17 ain't a bad deal,but I'll stick with what I have.
