Golf Ball Plinking!

Golf balls have always been one of my favorite plinking targets when shooting out in the desert. Whether shooting a .22 or 30.06, when you hit one, you know it. They will take off, sometimes more than 100 yards! Of hundreds of balls that I have shot, only once did the ball get damaged. The one and only time the ball was penetrated was with a high velocity .22 shot from a model 63 Winchester and here is the results! The bullet penetrated but did not exit the ball. I have had a lot of fun showing this ball off on the golf course as an example of my powerful swing or palming the ball back on to the putting green for some wobbly fun. Thought I would share this ball with you.

I love shooting golf balls. especially on a hill side. Chase em up and try to not let them come back down.
I really want to shoot a few holes with my guns.
12 gauge to tee off.
9mm for chip shots
.22 for putting

I call this ballistic golf, but I have not found a course that allows it.

Very cool!! I'm going to have to try this the next time I take the AR out. I usually use Coleman Lantern propane tanks to plink on. They're really fun with tracers!!
