I call bullshit.... the pressure would cause the cylinder wall to rupture, before it would blow the parts through the thick metal seat plate which, by the way, appears to be unscathed. Path of least resistance... ya know. Besides... them damn things don't have that much pressure in the first place.

Then again, it's probably.... MADE IN CHINA!
