    Curly Maple Blocks

I have some sets of Curly Maple for sale. They are block sets of 5, and each block is at least 1.5 x 1 x 5 and some are 2” wide. I am asking $50 a set shipped CONUS. I have a grinder I am trying to pay for, and so I have to let these go.

I have better pics of the individual sets just email and I will send them to you. I put a little dye on a couple unsanded sample blocks so you can get an idea how the grain looks, but there are lots of ways to finish these. If you want a set please post which one you want. Paypal only please.

    Thanks Larry

    Thanks Bubba....
Well I guess I have to sweeten the deal a little bit, so for the last 5 sets I'm gonna throw in a block of figured desert ironwood. Heres an example of what they're like. This is oversized stuff, really solid and heavy, with nice banding.

** So thats 5 blocks of curly maple, and a block of desert ironwood, shipped CONUS for $50 bucks !!

Gotta pay for that grinder plus shipping from NC....

Man I have a ton of wood especially burled walnut, and persimmon ,cherry , I am out of flame maple . I do have a huge hard maple cut but, it needs to season some more. Do you want to trade for some walnut burl . I have this knife half done in flame maple , I need enough to finish a short saya (scabbard) about 7 in. x 3 x 1. the reason I need it a little wider is, the saya is curved a bit so I have to make it a little wider.let me know . I am still open to buy a piece or two . regards bubba

    Norcal,
Glad you like those. I think you're set for awhile with ironwood. Hard to believe how heavy that stuff is. Good color on those Cocobolo scales too.

    Cheers,
    Larry

    BTTT....
Would consider trades for blades. Otherwise the grinder fund is still short....If you need scales cut or a different size let me know I can take care of it. 5 sets left.

5 blocks of curly + 1 block of desert ironwood + free shipping CONUS............. All for $50.....Thats less than 6.75 a block
