Another trip to Israel, oh goody it's a ceasefire now at least!

For anyone who hasn't caught one of these threads before, I go to Israel for training, yeah, really......I know. Honestly, it's a great country, cool people, fantastic food, really cool, ancient stuff to go sight seeing about. Shit, I like it there. But..........

So My boss calls me and tells me they have a training class coming up and he wants me to get in on it. Oh......okaaaaaaaay. Hey, uh James....... ummmmm, isn't there like a war going on there? "Oh yeah, I mean sorta." ( SORTA!??!?) "Well, I mean there's a cease fire on I think." Yeah, thats great James, thanks. He says, and I'm quoting here "hehehe, well ya know, be ready to duck and all, but I'm sure it's fine" Fuck you James.......

So yeah, I'm going to Israel again, probably not a lot of sight seeing this trip, what with it being sorta cold, and only 1 weekend to screw around and get out much, and ya know what with the frigin war.

Technically, there is a ceasefire on. And were we are staying, and going to training is a good distance from any of the bad stuff. And luckily the Israelis have Gaza sealed up tight as a drum, so I'm not really all that worried about anything. More amused, and annoyed with my bosses attitude.

So, ah James? You heading over too? "hehehe, naaaaaaah" Yer a dick James..... yeeeeaaaaahhhhh, heheheh.

We're staying at a really nice hotel, I've been there before, and right down the street is a restaurant called the Theresa that has the best Calamari I have ever had, bar none. I like it there, the hotel and restaurant I mean. Bunch of other restaurants nearby too. Should be good, for ya know what it is.

So tempting... but there's that whole money thing.

Sucks because getting out of work would be a breeze, but paying for driving/flying up... I don't know if we have it. *sigh*

I don't want him to go... but its work, and has to be done... The only way the timing is good is that I'm just about out of my shower oil that he gets me when he's over there... There's one thing he'll be doing during that weekend he has to screw around.

And 2ful, I don't remember him talking about 12 year olds with guns... Maybe it's in another area of the country...
