Healthy looking litter.
Mother and whelping box look good so seem up and up.
How and why did you end up with pick pup? Just curious.
Most breeders look at the joint movement, bone, stop, check senses, etc.
Try comparing two at a time and narrow things down. I'm not up on Dobes but a quick search would tell you what their prone to and what specifically to look for if there is something to look for.
When picking Yoda he was the runt. He was the weakest one of a litter of 12. His litter mates would always beat him to the nipple and then team up on him afterwards. His senses were there but his energy level was low. We took him away at just about 6 weeks.
Anyway good luck, let us know, and post some more pics.

Isn't that the truth Clydetz I do not think there is a week pup in the litter.
Toro when the litter hit the floor I got a phone call with a head count.
I over nighted the deposit for a pup. Well mine got there first she called and told me I have PICK!!!
It is sure making it hard picking from seven females. I like the one with the hot pink collar above sticking her tung out at ya... DB

take a boy and a girl
We picked out the pick of the litter with the breeder Sunday 2/8/09. Three days in a row spending and hour each time weeding out the niumbers from 7 females to 5 to 3 and pick.
She is great and a real thinker??? STands back and watches then makes the move I liked that for obedience.
Sorry about the football helmet the ears are just cropped Thurs. and she acted like it was nothing the whole litter was like that. Does not feel it..
It was the hardest time I ever spent picking a newbie... Shelby might be her name. Not a definet yet. She is still dobermen. Db

That is a beautiful dog. Dobermans are one of my favorite breeds. I am a vet tech so I have seen plenty of them. I wish her a long healthy life
