Hey All,
Been lurking for a while. I definitely like the vibe of Ron's place.
I post a little on BF - I have a few Busse's - my first real fixed blades.
I don't know near as much about knives as I'd like but I'm still learning.
Looking forward to contributing where I can.

Not sure where to "fit" in other than the goings on with the loss of our most precious cat. I tried Lady Forums no joy there. Ok I love knives had our own business and its gone for now. I love the Bark River knife that SugarSkull finally found for me with the hilt that would not slip on my hand. Its great for cutting up joints of beef and all kinds, glad I have it. Kudos to the designer of this particular knife. I think he said it a Mark Stewart one. I will never sell it and take great care of it.
Other than that I will shut my gob up now before I get into trouble.

I am or used to be a great fan of Columbia River knives still have quite a few in my colllection. Also liked the Almars, Kissing Crane and a load of great brands.Nice to se ya!
Just asking what kind of knife you like or knives? I have one that is a real keeper from France a Gillies knife, the workmanship is awesome looking down the back you can see the work in the mirror it almost seems. I think SugarSkull posted a photo of that knife a while ago now. Not sure if you did see that pic or not. He has been on here before me and introduced me to the site, we do not have a store anymore due to the economy, most folks around here are poor. So we shut up shop and I seem to have lost some knowledge. Be great to get back into the swing of things again.
