-10 when I went out for my morning jog, with no wind, here today. You Tejasans are cold-weather wiener-dogs, each and every one of you. I remember spending a Christmas/New Years with an old buddy down in Kingsville a few decades back. I swear, once it got below 58 I saw people wearing those old school Sears parkas with the faux fur around the hood!
    all da best,

There was no Cartoon Network either! You could only get cartoons on Saturday Morning. Do you hear what I'm saying? We had to wait ALL WEEK for cartoons, you spoiled little rat-bastards!

When I go to the gym during winter here in Boston, I like to hit the sauna after a workout for about 20 minutes before leaving. Now you would think walking out into below freezing temps after coming out of a sauna would cause ones boogeynights to freeze and shatter like glass, but it actually feels good. Something about going from a 160 degree room to 20 degree outside temps is refreshing.

Actually, that sounds like a good idea..... probably gets you soooo warm that you are ready for the cool down.

I will give that a try tomorrow night!!

This morning was 25.... add the windchill and we were in the teens. I understand this sounds like whining to you folks that live in REALLY cold places, but for me it's still a new experience. I was born and raised my whole life in So Cal before I moved here. I remember spending Christmas day in the pool half the time. So yea.... for me, this is damn cold!

Let me see what i can do.

I'm one of those weird chicks that goes to work out without a stitch of makeup and NO pretty clothes.

Today was a tank top, cut off sweats, and a "BrockBlades" t-shirt thrown over the top... which promptly came off after 20 minutes on the treadmill.

I'm not one of those pretty girls that goes to the gym to be... pretty. I go to sweat... and get my muscles back after a long illness.

The fact that a couple of guys walked by me and my trainer today and noticed my clear 3 part separation in my delt muscles was a plus. The fact my trainer said "those guys would SHIT if they knew how old you were" was... uh.... i guess a plus??! Maybe not? I'm gonna pretend it was!

45 degrees here and pissing down rain... has been for a few days... I'm seriously getting sick of it... but I'm glad its rain and not snow... this converted to snow... there would likely be a state of emergency called.

Mmmmm... hot tub weather. My wife and I get the same effect from the hot tub. We've frozen our asses off headed out to the hot tub in some seriously low temps... for Central Texans anyway. After stewing for a couple of hours... those low temps feel pretty damn good.
    Gonna miss you, SugarSkull.

    Currently 36 degrees and dropping.

Time to snuggle in for the night and watch some TV.

right now it's -14'f out... and I'm still walkin around with my jacket unzipped... hell, I didn't start wearing pants to work till this week... that's right, I was wearing summer shorts till now... yesterday with wind was -39 with the wind... I had my jacket zipped up then... well, -26'c and with wind -39 was fucking cold... and will only get colder by this time next month the average temp will be from -35 to -45... and yes that celcius... but at those temps it's pretty close to farenheit... oh yeah, that's without any wind at all, even with a full on blizzard the city still is half not shut down, business as usual cept for the schools and what businesses choose not to open... good times eh.
