Recently I bought a Rock Island Arms Nickel plated 1911A1 in .38 Super...so today imagine today finding a NIB Rock Island Nickel plated 1911A1 in .45 acp! Of course I did. The store owed me a credit so by the time I got out the door it cost me $360. I know that the Rock Island isn't in the same league as Kimber, Colt, Springfied, Sig, etc. but it is, for the money, a good value. Fit and finish are OK and if the .45 shoots as good as the .38 Super it will be a nice addition to the armory...
