November 19th Reminder

It is that time a year again and more important than any time ever. November 19th is "buy ammo day". Go out and buy at least 100 rounds of ammo. I intend to buy a brick of .22 and 100 rounds of .45, minimum.

My BD is coming up as well and am just going to the post office with a letter to Post Falls for a new G10 BG 42. Tomorrow is the gun show and am hoping that Win. 101 20 ga. is still there. I may have to buy a flat of 20 ga. on the 19th - you can never have enough 20 ga. ammo.

The past few years November 19th has been designated "buy ammo day" just to feed the anti-gun folks (insert whatever) a shit sandwich. That's all I know about it. I have read guns and ammo sales are up 13% in the past year. I dunno why?

Thanks for the heads up on the 'Buy Ammo' day, I will...and good luck on the Win. 101 show find - but, if in the meantime, if you get the urge to buy a sweet, all-original 1970's 20. GA. 870 Wingmaster, I have just the shotgun for you...

I have some ammo too. I dunno how much, but somewhere between 100-300 rounds would prolly be close. Trap, rabbit, turkey, high-base, buck shot, etc...

Shel-: I just got back from the WAC gun show and the 101 was gone. I passed on several Model 12's, one which made me shaky and nervous. I used to have a late 60's 3" 20 ga. 870 and have always been sorry I sold it. I have my Dad's ca. 67 870 12 ga. with two barrels but never shoot it.

There was a guy at the show selling off a friend's collection of Randall's but they all were very high. He had a #14 for 900 bucks. The others I ignored.

People we hauling ammo out of the gun show by the hand cart loads. Mostly AK ammo.

You can never have too many flats for claybustin. I've got flats stacked away I forgot about but they're there if I need them.

I must have 10,000 empty once fired STS's that could be reloaded if needed but prefer to shoot Euro ammo I get on sale at Sportco. G.I. Joe's usually just has estate or Rem. Gun Club for sale ammo. I get a 10% discount on flats, too.

What's the going GOOD price for decent enough .45acp? For reference, I used to buy Winchester White Box 230gr. FMJ's and occ JHP's. It ain't the cleanest around, but there is worse.

And... can't let the cat out of the bag yet, but I DID do my civic duty and bought a gun yesterday. Just in time for the election... I'm assuming the anti-2A asshat is going to win. This one is gonna make Parker real jealous!
