Some fucking auto dialer is driving me batshit.
"this is the second notice your automobile warranty is about to expire"
I have been called by this machine on my cell phone and all my land lines for months now.
When is this shit gonna stop.
Tell me who is doing this and I will fly there and feed them their own colon.

I actually got one of these calls a while back with a human, I use the term loosely, on the other end of the line. When he started telling me that such and such vehicle's warranty was about to expire I tell him sorry but I don't own that car any longer. He has the stones to ask what I'm driving currently so they can update their records! All he got was laughter and me hanging up the phone.

I got that same shit for for the same thing for several months... I finally caught one of the calls and got it to end. Good luck..

If they are calling your cell phone, can't you just program your cell phone to not accept calls from the number they are calling you from? My RAZR has that feature.

First of all gentlemen, I get these calls about every other week. I have been on the DO NOT CALL list for years and years! Still they call. I have reported them to the Do Not Call website if I can get a company name or phone number, but that seems to do no good. I also get calls for bankcard protection, painting services, gutter cleaning, maid service, etc.

Here's what I do now.

IF, they provide a "Hang On And A Representative Will Talk To You" message or a "Press ONE for a service representative", I get ahold of the "service rep" and sound really interested in the deal, I let them talk for about 20 seconds and even ask a question, THEN I say "Hold on, let me get my wife" and place the phone down, then I quietly go about my business. It takes about 30-45 seconds for that beeping sound to start after they hang up. I've now done this about 5 times, one rep held on for over 10 minutes! I hope they're getting the message.

What also pisses me off is the 100s of advertising faxes I get every year. It costs me about $25. in toner and paper each year to read about discount airline tickets, timeshares, HOT investments and stuff to make my dick bigger. I used to call those numbers and have it stopped, only to get the same fax 2 weeks later with a DIFFERENT cancel number. A read that these companys change their numbers on a weekly basis so you can NEVER block them!

I've received a couple of those as well. What pisses me off my 86 year old mother keeps getting them and she calls in a panic. I have to remind her she doesn't have a car. Fucking pisses me off. Bastards.

Not changing, but number spoofing. Try calling one back sometime and most of the time it will have a "disconnected or no longer in service" message. Google the number and you will see a long list of complaints.

Also... tell the dude you just got out of the shower and are soaking wet... then after a couple of minutes of his sales pitch, casually ask him what he is wearing. Keep that shit going... it may or may not solve much, but it is fun as hell.
