    The Grudge review

b's thread reminded me that I meant to post about The Grudge. This movie was pretty damn creepy. I normally don't get worked up over movies, but this one had me looking over my shoulder a few times in the car on the way home. It wasn't gory, only in a few parts, and even then not bad. It just gets under your skin. The basic premise is that there's this haunted house in Japan where the spirit likes to recreate a series of murders that occured three years ago. A new family moves in and crazy shit starts happening. Definitely well worth seeing if you like horror flicks.

I have been wanting to see it. Sounds good. Would be nice to see a horror flick that was not all slash and dice.

this was the st00pidist movie have seen in a long while. do not waste your time seeing this movie. the parts that were meant to be scary were just stupid and sorta funny. many people got up and left before the movie was over and those of us who finished it wish we had left early as well. all in all a horrible movie.

The original was good, the unnecessary remake was shite.

And yes, I know this thread is old.
