I have been putting simple lanyards on my knives for some time, but I put one on my ZT 0300 and it seems like it doesn't need it due to how well it sits in my hands. Do you put lanyards on your large folders?

I took mine off my SMF for that exact reason. Not really necessary but on say a small seb, I have a lanyard.

I think a lanyard fills the need to have a bigger folder in some people's minds. They reach for it instead of the bigger sized knife that they should () already be carrying!

Had 'em on my knives for a time, took 'em all off.
I like tip up carry so they'd stick out of my pocket. Too much advertising. They also get in the way.
I do still have em on my big fixed blades though, but they're purely practical wrist lanyards for when I'm swinging at wood.
They're good for flashlights really.
NO, I do not have any lanyards on my large folders. I do not feel like they need them. In fact that ONLY knife that I DO have a lanyard on, and that is my Sebbies.

I'm going to guess that all of your failures prior to the "revolution" will pale in comparison to how hard your life will be afterward. You will not rise to the occasion. If you can't succeed in a structured, ordered society, you will continue to fail miserably when winning friends and influencing people becomes vitally important.
I put hangman's noose-style lanyards on my SAKs and smaller fixed blades, but not on any of my folders.
Just on a SAK...not on any one handed folders, or fixed... I tried to like them, but it always seemed to get in the way...

That answers it for me, if I can't find my ZT 0300 in my pocket sans lanyard, I am doing something wrong. I as well like lanyard on my SAK tools, however on my onehanded trekker I am starting to wonder if it really needs it.

I put a short laynard on mine. It is usually about 2 to 2 1/2 inches in length. I tie in the hangmans noose style with 7 twists around. I use paracord to make them and I always let the cord soak in very hot water for about 5 minutes before tying it on. Once on I trim the cord sticking out the back all the way down to the top of the knot, and end up with a short laynard that has a tight knob on the rear. Once dry I cover the knob with super glue, let it dry good, lightly sand it and then cover it a second time. Don't know of any reason to do this, I just like it this way.
No lanyards for me... but I did put one on my Buck Alpha hunter just because I could.
