Charles Burns, adult comic artist (he's been around for a while) illustrates a weird world of deformed individuals inhabiting a dark urban landscape where the corporate world and media expose us to a ceaseless avalanche of consumer products & entertainment - and Burns tries to show how this will effect who we are. We become strange people - altered inhabitants of a runaway consumer culture - who start to resemble the characters we watch everyday.
