Hard Months Ahead

Well, as some of you who saw my raffle will note, My wife and I are having some medical issues. The raffle was to pay for some tests that aren't covered by my Health insurance.

and now the results are in. :greydevil::greydevil::greydevil:

Apparently I am adequately healthy to do my part.
My wife however, is not.
One fallopian tube "twisted shut" and the other is just non functional (not sure why yet)

Also for some reason her Menstruation cycle apparently does not lead to ovulation at all (that's bad, in case you were wondering)

So the short of it is, we have to start going to a specialist regularly and try and get her all healthy so we can do the mommy/daddy thing.

Smoke/Prayers would be greatly appreciated

Stephan,
You are a smart man asking us to take this matter up with the one that matters most. My oldest Niece and her husband tried for 10 years before the Lord blessed them with my 1st Great Nephew. He is 3 1/2 years old and his Mommy is due again in November. My family and I will keep you and your wife in our thoughts and prayers. This is going to sound crazy, but you need to both relax, enjoy each other, stop worrying & laugh alot!!!

I could say best wishes, prayers and smoke and all that, but I am going to tell you that from personal experience I am recommending that you find the best doctors you can. This sounds like a medical problem, not one of faith. My wife an I lost two baby boys before we found out what the problem was. One baby survived only hours the other a month. I won't get into all the details, but my wife had a deformed uterus and there wasn't enough room for the baby to develop properly. If we had listened to the first doctor, we would have just tried again and lost a third. My wife, a wonderfully strong woman, wanted more information and didn't trust the doctor so she personally went on a quest to find the best doctor to help out. She corresponded with doctors asked nurses and researched our situation with drive and desire. She finally got to talk to a professor of gynecological surgery at famous university and he accepted to perform reconstructive surgery to make carrying a baby to term possible. He recommended other doctors to follow the high risk pregnancy. That pregnancy led to the birth of our daughter, Angelique, and two years later, twin boys, Remy and Sebastien. What I am trying to point out is that it is up to you and your wife to seek out the solutions, get multiple opinions, be strong and make sure you check out all options! After all this, then a little prayer can't hurt!

I did leave out the part about my Niece and her husband finding a highly recommeneded fertility Doctor in the area they live in..I only did so because it seemed like ya'll are checking with a Doctor already. The above by Roadfish makes loads of sense, look for the best Doctor you can find. Don't be afraid to find a new one if the need be.

While I am saddend at your trouble, I am also relieved as I was worried for your health. Modern fertility practices offer great hope and I wish you all the best solving this problem.
