I am guessing that you are banned from all children's sporting events in your state.

I have always though it was bullshit to allow a player special treatment to break the records of players that received no help in setting the records.

To the anonymous DEVIL that gave me red on this topic. GO CRY WITH THE REST OF THE GIRLS. THIS GIRL GOT LUCKY ON HER HIT. SHE COULDN'T HIT CEMENT IF SHE FELL OFF THE FUCKING EMPIRE STATE BUILDING. You must be one of those kids who Little League wrote the "every child must play" rule for. If you read the original article you will see that the umpires on the field were wrong when they said she could not receive any assistance from her team to "run" the bases. First of all, a hit ball, that sails over the fence in fair territory without touching the ground is a home run. Grew up playing by yourself in the sandbox and never played baseball? Everyone knows what a homerun is. You're lucky you don't get double red rep points for stupidity. Second - If a player is injured while "running" the bases after hitting a home run (see one above if you are still confused) the homerun counts. Lose a little money on Junior College Baseball? Favorite Team get beat? You were the odd little man and no one chose you for their team? You weren't last picked; you were not picked eh?

I gave you red because your post really is stupid. Your arguement is so full of holes you couldn't hold a bucket of ice let alone water. I think you deserve your own web story: Eric's replacement as Red's dumbass discovered on JerzeeDevil; all the story boards for "That Seventies Show" will be redone to include an entire season devoted to Junior College Women's Softball

does your butt hole hurt? There is nothing wrong with 2 players extenting a helping hand to a fellow athelete. and to rant about her not deserving a home run and it only being a single..
once the action at the plate was complete and the ball crossed the fence in fair territory without assistance (meaning a fan did not pull it over) because if it would of hit an opposing player then went over without touching the ground first it would still be a homerun...
the opposing team is allowed to touch the batter during the run around bases (hint::: infielders high fiving HANK AARON but teammates waiting until he crossed home)
So if a Basketball player was fouled while making a shot and was injured to the point of not able to play a team player would shoot the free throws...

Now if the hit was anything other than a homerun or ground rule double a curtisy runner would have been placed at the last base the injured runner touched safely. and the curtisy runner would have been the runner who scored the previous out. on a ground rule double 2nd is awarded to the curtisy runner because it is an automatic same as home run. but there is no rule that says player has to make the round under his/her own will..

this thread is probably going to end up in fillibuster before it is over I have a feeling..

Look. I normally think your opinions are pretty good.

In this case, I really think you're all wet.

I don't like the "let's not keep score, because everyone is a winner" mentality either.
In this case, I really think the other team demonstrated the essence of Sportmanship (capitalization intentional). They didn't have to do a thing, but they recognized the player's acheivement, and pitched in to do the right thing even though it wasn't to their own benefit.

If that isn't Sportsmanship, how would you define it?
