so i ll be taking down and redoing this one a few more times till i get it how i like it but here are some shots
the blades are M2 and the mycarta is my own Ti liners and stainless screws

    Looks slick man!

Just be sure and use fresh sandpaper and don't let the sandpaper touch the metal if you sand it down.

I spray WD40 on my white micarta/orange G10/Translucent G10 b/c it coats it, closes the pores and makes it to where you can just clean it with WD40 from then on.

it was what i had left after doing 2 kabars with blood stripes in the handles
i had been tring to seal the white after every time it was sanded and it just sucks

Oil makes things much easier, just remember the Kleenex.......oops, wrong thread...............

Just kidding, it won't discolor it or anything, and just wipe the excess WD40 off, it's the stuff below the surface (in the pores) that's a problem....

    That is awesome Butch..

Try using true oil on a piece of scrap micarta and see if you like the look. I have started putting it on all of my micarta. It will darken it up a bit and I have never tried it on white, so I am not sure what it will do to it.
The true oil seems to seal the micarta up and keep the dirt and oils from your hands from discoloring it.

There's a couple of different variants of True Oil as well. One WILL yellow the white micarta, the other won't.

Just be sure and get the one that won't.

True Oil is awesome, especially on Ironwood.
