My problem if I can call it that, is I enjoy a wee dram of whiskey, preferably the single malt type. Oban, Lagavulin and Glen Garioch 15 yr olds are my personal favs. Unfortunately, if I keep buying expensive knives, I can't keep buying expensive scotch.
The reason for calling the thread "Do you like Scots?" was because some A**H**E decided to clip his toenail and put the dirty fungess laden toenail in my 10 yr old Glenlivet. Now, I was young a while back and worked at a Steak House and believe me the stuff you see in movies is true. hehe. Ever Seen "Casino", of course you have and Joe Pechi's brother spat in the LEO's sandwhich, all true, sorry.
So bottom line, like the product, but have issues with the people who don't give a rats ass about their product going overseas and leaving a bad impression with a buyer.
What was that line in Braveheart?
The problem with Scotland ........... is the Scots!

Is it just me or has this thread gone GHHHHEEEY? Next thing you knoiw someone will be puttin "Scots" in the mud flap....
And for the other side of the coin ........... who the fuck wants to drink with someone who has hope , and their whole life in front of them ?
For the permanent record , I have not had a recreational mood altering substance for longer than you have been breathing , but that doesn't change my sentiment.
I knew everything when I was your age , and will not deny you the right........no , the obligation to to opine on things with which you have nothing but the vaguest understandings of.
What I am picking up here is the fact that you are letting the best years of your life slip away..............fuck up now , while you can still use the excuse of youth and blissful ignorance.
Get out there and whoop it up.
There'll be plenty of time for atonement in your later years.

Now I need to decide.
Scottish Terrier or strapping lad in a dress tossing the caber across the lawn?
Do I get all jealous or send a box of Milk Bones ?
Oh well , when confusion abounds..........just crank up the tunes and ponder the ethereal.
Works for me every time.

Heh, whats a few toenails between friends.
Wouldn't be thrilled with the toenails, probably'd bitch to the company etc, but I'd finish the bottle! People get grossed out so easy now a days!
Think I'll go get a nice glass of Scotch now as a matter of fact, my nails need a trim......

Just picked up a nice birthday bottle of Scotch. Bunnahabhain, a measly 12 year old, but damn tasty, I highly suggest it for a try.
But I'm almost disappointed, nary a toenail to be found.

Well part of my family are Scotts and the other part Irish..and my wifes family are part Scotts and part Welsh
for the last 20 years or so I've bought my old dad a good malt every year for his birthday and for Christmas.....the best one so far is "Highland Park".............furthest most Northern distillery in Scottland..............it's on an island..I don't really like Scotch myself.but because of my dad I've sampled many and recommended it to a few American friends, and they all liked it...smooth and not too harsh....to be drunk with a "threat" of water
and for those who like Scottland check this out
