The Death Gate Cycle by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman,

The Myst books (yes like the games) by Robyn Miller,

The Hitchhikers Guide to the Universe by Douglas Adams,

Just about any of the Discworld books by Terry Pratchet,

Thats all I can think of right now,

    Might add some more later.

    New on Friday:

Wayne Goddard's: $50 Dollar Knife Shop

Very cool reading so far. The One Brick Forge is the best thing yet. I plan on picking up some bricks when I am in town next weekend. Let the forging begin.

My favorite fiction is just about anything by John Sandford, great stuff! Another pretty good one is Harlan Coben, there all pretty good but his latest was kind of slow. The Dean Koonts Frankenstien was great except it kind of left you hanging at the end for the next book.

Don't stop with the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, you should read the whole 5 book Trilogy. Good stuff and light, easy reading.

I'd add The Thinker's Toolkit, a interesting way to look at how you make decisions.

The Art of the Blacksmith is also very interesting.

I am going to pick up on Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series. Presently I am reading "The Path Daggers", I had put it down when I went back to College in 1999. Also I am looking for a good book on VB 6.0. And I want to re-read Donald Knuth's "Concrete Mathematics", I am going to have to buy a copy this time. The local library had to borrow it from another library and the time limit was kind of tight.

There is no conclusive evidence of life after death. But there is no evidence of any sort against it. Soon enough you will know. So why fret about it?
