Jeff really knows how to make a precision product with incredible tolerances! His work is perfection. He's got a great eye for detail and his work shows it. Here are my two customs from him.
*The top one I was very fortunate to have gotten. It was created 10 years ago (1997) and is a 1 of 2 Shards that were ever engraved. Bruce Shaw did the engraving - incredible detail and perfectly hides the trap door release. The blade is a double ground high contrast Devin Thomas Raindrop damascus. The frame is 416SS and is accented with 24k plated screws and back spacer.
*The bottom one is of course Jeff's D/A OTF - the Triton. 416SS handle with hand satin flats and high polish DLC edging. Blade is also a high polish DLC finish.
Highly recommend Jeff's knives!
Below you can see that Bruce Shaw scribed his name on the top portion of the Shard. Blade is actually perfectly centered - the pic angle throws it off a bit. Also seen is Jeff Harkins signature on the Triton.
In the below pic you can see J.A. Harkins scribed onto the 24k gold back spacer (not very clear in the pic). And the top portion of the Triton has caught a bit of a reflection making it look kinda black and globby?
