    My Hinderer Collection

    Hi Guys,
These are the first of hopefully many Rick Hinderer Folders I will have in my collection. They are flawless in all aspects!!!! Thanks Pete

Is the Dauntless comfortable? It just looks to me like it has too many corners. I love the smooth lines of his other folders though. Very nice knives you have there.

The dauntless is very comfortable. It is built like a tank!! However i do find it easier to open the Firetac then the Dauntless , due to the thumb disk over the thumb stud. I prefer the thumb disk. The dauntless fits my hand very well and the deep coil ,allows you to hold it very firmly and comfortabally. Thanks Pete

It's hard to beat the Hinderer Firetac. It is the only framelock I would say is better than a Sebbie! That is saying a lot. You may not remember, but I have owned a large number of Sebenza's in the past and still consider it the best framelock, except for FT, available. I think it is the mark that many custom knives shoot for with only a handful getting close. Just my opinions here. Saying that those Ft's look fantatstic! I sold my Firetac bowie to finance a Firetac Extreme tanto. The Extreme's are my favorite with their "bulked up" build and extra large size. Got 2 with a 3rd coming at Blade in June!
