Huh. Hadn't noticed that.

And it is possible to get off-roster handguns in California without being a LEO. Though it may come at a premium. Colt CCO (not one of the TALO editions).
But I'll be honest, on close inspection this one fills the "bad Colt QC" stereotype that was true for a period of time. Wont have any issues modding it. For one, that crappy plastic trigger will go.
