    COLONIAL PATCH KNIFE GALLERY 2007

    Hey Gang,

Here is the 2007 Run Of the Colonial Patch Knife.

As requested -- We have included a number of the modern Handle Material on this Run.

The Bark River Colonial Patch Knife is Our re-creation of the Small Knives carried by folks who used Flintlock and Percussion Guns with Patch & Ball. the knife was used to trim the patch after the ball & patch were seated into the end of the Muzzle of the Rifle or Musket.

This type of knife was usually carried on the Possibles Bag and evolved into a small general Purpose Utility knife that ultimately was also used for general Small Tasks in addition to trimming the Patch.

Here is the Colonial Patch Knife in the J.R.E. Industries Pouch Sheath.

All of the Colonial Patch Knives come with this Sheath with it's integral Fire Steel Loop. This Sheath is already set up for the Modular System to attach this to Our other Sheaths.

We made these Before but we only made them in the Tradition Wood and Bone handles.

They sold very well for Our Dealers but we began to get more and more requests for them in the modern handles.

This run was actually a fill-In of about 200. The Dealers and Distributors snapped almost all of them up right away.

I think I have about 6 blades left that are Unbuilt. The Dealers are receiving them right now from the Distributors.

As You know--I like Classic Patterns. The Ole Patch Knife was a necessity in those days and I still feel that the Modern concept of an EDC come from Folks knowing that they needed to carry a small knife in their daily lives.
