Clip point carbon fiber on E-bay! I would say the reserve is $1700.00 or higher.

What it is worth is up to you. I am pretty sure the seller is a member here!

I am sure with his rep the knife is Minty fresh!

My UT-5 is one of my favorites, I sold 11 of the UT-5's when they came out. I had 5 Re-bladed and they are the coolest ones made IMHO! see in pic! Notice the point in the front of the handle like the Makoras! Notice the Kick ASS blade!

Scuz mi ignantz. Yep Bob that's the one! Sure is a Beauty. One day I'll get lucky enough to own some of those customs. Certain people seem to have that market locked up.

WTF does that mean? I don't understand the new guys mentality on the collecting part? I can't think of one model Microtech, except for a Masterpiece or Dragon Slayer I, that any one, and there furkin dyke sister could not have had a chance to buy over the last 4-5 years? I don't get this shit! Please let the collecting rules be known for everfuckinbody! I didn't think there were any rules?

WTF does this mean Scuz mi ignantz. I was trying to help you out. Lots of friends in the hobbie trade and sell knives among themselves as they know what others are looking for. Most times just letting a guy know you like his knife and if he ever wants to sell it will get you a few, then asking for something on the forums will get results. It has taken me years to get a collection of less that 15 custom Microtechs, and I am in the thick of it!

Ask Reverend Spuffie if it is just luck 99% of the time. I never heard or seen him, I was getting the Dragon Slayer III's made he lucked out and got on the list and even lucked out more and got a BLP one. We have become good friends since and I know of a few customs he is interested in and when they come along I will offer them to him. There is no Elite club, just guys that are patient and search this stuff out and 99% of the time are at the right place at the right time!

I sold one of my high end customs today to a guy I have never met but we have become good friends over the past year. I told him if I ever sold this knife that he really wanted he would get first shot, today he is the new owner of that knife.

Off the box, going for a Root beer!!

Just reading what you wrote Stabber! We all know of the Valmet lists, been brought up in enough threads. So say I just take a look?

(11-13)UT5 with SS chassises HP Clip Point blades and CF scales dated 12/2001- one has White MOP scales ($2k+) = $1950+
(~45)UT5 with SS chassises, CF or Abalone scales, Tanto, Clip Point, or Double Edged blade that is either High polished or Satin finished dated 4/2003- some of these had their blades swapped out for DE Nemesis like blades in 7/2003 and Serial numbers were separate for some blade styles- i.e. two #004, #005's, etc... = $1950+
(1)Sterile UT5 with Hot Blued DT Spirograph Damascus Clip Point blade with CF scales- may swap out to GoldLip MOP scales in the future- originally made in 4/2003 ~ $1950+
    (~5)UT5 Customs for Blade Show 2003- 06/2003 = $1950+
(3)HP DEEP Hollow radical Double Edged Dagger grind blade UT5 with blackened slider and CF scales made for TAD in 6/2003 = $1950+

Few minor errors in this list as 1 /2 were never made of the 45 but a good guide to go by.

You didn't know there were different styles so that is why you asked?
How would you possibly know to ask if you didn't know there were any different ones?

Certain people seem to have that market locked up. What is a certain people?

This post sounds a lot like the other one you posted asking a value?

I was just helping and I won't any more, I think you were throwing a jab, I called you on it and that is it!

You came out trippin cause I put scuz mi ignance. I didn't even think to look on valmets list for this knife.
As for the other post asking that Socom value I did look at the list and it is not there.
If I'm unsure of something I'm not afraid to ask questions. If someone else asks questions and I can answer, I would be glad to share my knowledge.
I have learned alot from different sites, Good and Bad!
