Hank III

Saw Hank Williams III the other night....spectacular.
He is touring with two bands of his own....one set is the country and hopped up hill billy stuff of his that I knew of.
Then the hell billy metal outfit he plays with ( called " Ass Jack ") comes out , and they finish the evening.
They are both solid , but I think his tamer / country stuff is stronger , musically and lyrically. The guy can write a great song and the bands are so fucking tight.......during one song , someone fell down in the mosh pit.
Hank stopped playing and made sure the guy was O.K. and not being stampeded......then he looked at the fiddle player , nodded , and the whole band just picked up where they quit. At full speed. I was stunned.
If you get a chance to catch them on tour , you won't be disappointed.
