gregw's thread for "stealth auto's" started this and I didn't want to hi-jack his thread so I started my own.
Bare in mind, this is my first Sebenza, so I don't really know what I'm looking for and have nothing to compare it to. I've had a few Vallotton's and this lives up to their reputation.
Initial impressions are, it's pretty light-weight, fairly sharp (seems like it's sharpened at an odd angle though), locks up very tight with ZERO blade play, and is a cool knife overall. It has a jeweled kickspring, anodized & fileworked firing button (yes, the purplish-blue-circle-thing mentioned in the other thread...looks like titanium to me) and kicks like a Vallotton. The spring is strong as hell, but it opens a little "sluggishly" (if that makes sense). You can tell it's a strong spring, just feels like the blade is dragging on something. I have a sneaking suspicion, though, it just needs to be broken in a little and will loosen right up. It opens a little sluggishly in manual mode as well.
All in all it's a cool knife and definitely a keeper. I'll likely carry it as I like the size and overall feel of the knife.
I know this is not the kind of review you guys are used to, Blade Magazine is still reviewing my application, but if you have any questions...feel free to ask.
And the obligatory pics...
