Is that a handgun cartridge? That seems like a heavy bullet with not a lot of powder behind it. Maybe good for a couple hundred yards? What is the advantage of this caliber?

.223 military rounds have 55 grain bullets, 250 grains is alot of lead to be throwing out of an aluminum framed weapon. That must kick like a mule on steroids.....
