I want a sword. Don't know much about any good makers but hear that Hayes made some good ones. Any opinions on good makers?

I have a Mad Dog mini-Shrike on order.

    Want a Brend fixed blade.

Need to get a Scarab double edge.

Check out Bark Rivers newest!!! They are bad ass from all appearances and you can have mosaic pins and just about ANY handle material there is avaialable

    For me, I am after:

-Any Cucchiara I can get (Every few months I get to score one)
-Anso Mofo (Need to get on his list soon)
-Mayo TNT (Every time they are on the market, I am broke)
-Burke Urban Combat or Balistic (Looking like 12 months)
-Scott Cook Dagger (Due in 6 months or so)
-Scott Cook Lochsa (Due in 6 months or so)
-Bark River skinner w/ some bad ass scales (Waiting for there release)
-Scot Matsuoka Makani (On the list, not sure when its due)
-Brad Duncan Whiplash (This upcoming week)

Thats about all thats a MUST, Many more are on the want list
It is not the Death Rattle in the throat of Western civilization which is surprising: it is the fact that millions of Americans believe that the death rattle is a beautiful song!

Did you see that 'short sword' Mike posted? I do not have any swords and for the life of me can't see any need for one. But, damn, that looked nice!! Just might be my first.

Edit: Simultaneous post with TBG. Yes, you need to check out BRK&T sword.

Got a Dagger on order from Scott Cook and just ordered a damascus Lochsa. Couple of the Keys from David would be nice. I have several knives on order from Corbet Sigmon, who you guys have probably never heard of. Matt Cucchiara sure does nice work. I need to get one on order or pick one up somewhere. Jim Burke's knives seem to be very well received too.........

I have a Jones Bros Responder to arrive in any time, an Eddie Bacca Warnie soon and an Anso Revolution somewhere this year.

I'd like to get a Davidson Wyrm and another Ferret.

If I get really lucky, maybe a Carson 21 or Obbie Model 3

I saw the sword, nice. I don't need one but just want one. I got a Mad Dog Panther which has a 10 inch blade and it just feels good and fast in my hand. He makes a 18 in. Saxon for aroung $3500 but thats too much for me. Might change my mind if I could hold one. The 10in. Panther was only 3 inches more than the one I already had but twice as much. When I got it I could see why, one bad piece of steel. Kevin also made some bad axes at one time but like most of his stuff I just can't find them.

Since I can't get on his list for a custom, I will get the same three you have selected and one of the folders. Who am I kidding? I will get all three of the folders.
I'm going to guess that all of your failures prior to the "revolution" will pale in comparison to how hard your life will be afterward. You will not rise to the occasion. If you can't succeed in a structured, ordered society, you will continue to fail miserably when winning friends and influencing people becomes vitally important.
