    WWYD?

    What Would You Do?

I will be getting a suppressor for an HK .45 within the next few weeks. I have a full size USP in .45. I can get a threaded barrel from HK or an aftermarket barrel for *I am thinking* around 2 bills. Or I can get a whole new gun in the form of a Tactical .45.....for a whole lot more....

    WWYD?

ETA: I already have the USP in 9, .40 and .45 as well as a P2000 in .40. I don't add that to bragg but as a posible consideration in terms of 'do I really need another'.......... Or possibly in terms of 'wtf, go ahead and just get another'......

    I would get the barrel.
I'm going to guess that all of your failures prior to the "revolution" will pale in comparison to how hard your life will be afterward. You will not rise to the occasion. If you can't succeed in a structured, ordered society, you will continue to fail miserably when winning friends and influencing people becomes vitally important.

Get the tactical! It has more upgrades than just the threaded barrel and you can always use another
It is not the Death Rattle in the throat of Western civilization which is surprising: it is the fact that millions of Americans believe that the death rattle is a beautiful song!

Buy the Tactical. That's what I would do. If you need a little extra cash you should sell the USP .45.

I have a USP .45 Expert, and I have considered selling it to buy a Tactical. Mostly for the cool factor of having a HK factory threaded barrel.

I would get the Tactical. The trigger, sights, and barrel will be worth the money. Maybe even sell that greedy sumbitch RXX your full size USP cheap, and then use that money toward your Tactical.

Get that Tactical, and don't look back brother. Another HK around the house couldn't hurt.

It's all about the cost and practicality factor - figure that the sights on the Tactical will be easier to see OVER the can and if you dial them in and then fix them in place, or substitute a fixed sight over the adjustable, you've got a dedicated silienced handgun in a serious caliber which will be not only fun to shoot, but may prove useful in other less fun ways.

The issue I'd have with the can attached to a standard USP would be trying to use the sights around/ over the can, but if you got funky about it, I guess you could just paint a white stripe or line down the top of the can and be done with it.

That's it for me - how easy will it be to consistently hit what you want with the can/ sights as a combo.
