    Yet another .22 Rifle

Picked this little Mossberg and Sons semi-auto rifle this AM; a scoped model 151M(b). It came with a Mossberg 4M4 Scope (4x) and the original box for the scope!

    Two piece monte carlo stock

    Even Pounce likes then!

Here are all of my .22s; from top to bottom: H&R Leatherneck, Remington Model 34, Mossberg and Sons Model 141a, Mossberg and Sons 151M(b), Ruger 10/22 Carbine, Harrington & Richardson US M12 (civilian model # is 5200).

Lookin' good! I'm still mulling over whether of not to spring the $129 for one of the Mossbergs with the "flip-down" front stock as my local dealer has one and the target sight are still intact.

Man, you got a nice little collection there.
Looks like you could have a lot of fun plinking or squirreling.

Alright, I'm listening and I'm going to go back this coming week and give it a real close look... I guess that I'm just picky - since I got my 46B in excellent condition for only $85... Also my second vault is getting filled up too quick.

I have a hunch that I could talk them down off the $129 to close to the hunded-dollar mark. Well see, and you know I'll post if I jump. Given that the micrometer sights are intact (front & rear) all I need to do is swab the bore and (if it's good) make an offer. Since they vacuum out my wallet (with amazing regularity) - I'm thinking they'll hook me up cheap as this rifle has been there for a LONG time. I'm just surprised that no one knows anything about these Mossbergs?

    Thanks for the "push"

I went to go look at it (and buy it today). As it turns out - it just sold after being there for over 8 months...

To be kind of honest, I'm sort of glad because I already have about eight .22's and really need to start drawing the line somewhere.
