    Another Wrought Iron Piece

    Description: Bowie W/ San Mai Wrought Iron


    Steel: 1084 with wrought Iron welded to each side
    Thickness: .25 Inch at Ricasso
    Blade: 4.25 Inches
    O/A: 8.25 Inches
    Grind: Convex
    Finish: Deeply etched Wrought shows very nice figuring
    Handle: Mordelo wood (dark brown, very hard)
    Sheath: 7/8 oz Hand tooled Leather, Pouch Style

    Thats great! The first knife I made is wrought iron and san mai high carbon steel. I made it by hand, folding as well as forging the blade. My good friend Trond helped me and did the handle and sheath for me. I am so proud of that knife!
