Anyone know how to read blue prints?
I received my Beretta BM59 parts kit today from SARCO. I have a stripped Springfield M1 receiver that will need to be modified in order to accept the BM59 magazines, mag catch and bolt hold open. Almost all the parts are Beretta and marked BM59' the barrel is marked and dated SIAU 1967 MP; the bolt is marked HRA, and the OPROD, SA. I understand the concept of what needs to be done; but the copies of the blue prints are about 1/2 scale and are terrible. I will call tomorrow and tell them for $29.95 I should be able to read them...
Here are some photos of the kit and receiver...Pounce even got in the act and wanted to know what was in the box!
Note it is marked HRA
one came with the kit and I bought a 2nd one for $69.95; marked BM59 on the bottom - hold 20 rounds and are not too hard to load (of course I loaded one!)
Springfield OPROD and guide

Keep us posted and photos of the project. I wish I could help - but I don't have any experience with the BM59.
