BLS (Broad Leaf Skinner) in Tiger Maple

Here's a nice clean and simple version of one of our large skinners with some of Tess' great leather carving. I hope you like it.

This BLS is forged from 1/4" thick 5160 high carbon spring steel. The knife is 9 1/8" overall with a 4 3/4" cutting edge, flat ground with a hand-rubbed finish and a tapered tang. The handle scales are stabilized A-grade Tiger Maple wood with stainless steel handle bolts and lanyard liner. The tooled leather blade sheath, by Tess, has a colored carving of a Tawny Owl.
