Is there anything you plan to buy that may be banned in the 6-10 years? I see it coming.
I'm wanting an AK47 and Model 29. I want to replace a 1911 I sold, too.

I've got a long list of wants, but my paychecks are a little short. So I figure I'm gonna just have to stick with what I have for now and pray all goes well. You know, if Pelosi has her way, we'll be giving up the ones we have anyhow, with no compensation. So when all else fails, vote from the rooftops.

However, this would be a choice acquisition. Yes, I have seen it in person. Awesome.

He had $35K pricetag on it the first time I stopped in there, but looks like he's lowered it a little.

I figure if I get anything, it'll be an AR-10 7.62(308cal). Just want something with that extra "punch" to it.:spin:

Mack1, have you looked at Gene Stoner's SR25? The Seals thought enough of it to use the whole system.....
I would like to get a .308 AR platform of some sort and a Barrett M99...Hopefully they will still be available when I can afford the two.

Yeah, Mr. Brock has a VERY fine collection. If you are ever in Metro Atlanta, his place is worth a visit. He is usually not there, works from home, but his people are top shelf, very helpful. Had heard he was gonna move to a different location, but don't know how that is progressing. Have not had a chance to stop by there since December, but did get a few things off the clearance table last month.

I'd really like to pick up an AR15, preferably manufactured by Armalite, but I don't think that would ever happen, only would happen if I was making six figures. Not a monetary issue, but there are so many other rifles and handguns I want to get. I'd also like to pick up a Heckler and Koch G3A3 rifle, and if I'm not mistaken, they are treated like fully automatic weapons these days, if not on paper then personally. There is a local indoor range south of Baltimore where you can "rent" a fully automatic weapon in a booth, and wear out about a hundred rounds of ammo. Little too dangerous for my tastes, but it still sounds neat.
SHS, if you want a G3 try looking at Vector Arm out of Utah. They make a good one, reliability is great and customer service is AWESOME! As far as ARs go, don't just focus on Armalite, there are a lot of good manufacterers out there, and most are priced a lot lower.
Here are some fun looking toys for those with deep pockets
