Darla, Buckwheat, and Alfalfa were in class and the teacher said they were going to play a word game. The teacher would ask one student how to spell a word, and then ask another student to use the word in a sentence.

The teacher asked Alfalfa to spell the word *dictate*.
Alfalfa thought a minute, then answered 'd-i-c-t-a-t-e'.
The teacher said 'thats excellent, Alfalfa'.
Then the teacher said 'Buckwheat, please use 'dictate' in a sentence.
Buckwheat paused and then said 'Darla, how my dictate lat nite?'

That's funny! I love the Little Rascals. I actually have a look I give people that I call the "Stymie" after my favorite Rascal. That's a look of shocked confusion

Ohh...thinking about The Little Rascals make me sad because the guy who played Butch in the later years (Tommy Bond) would have a table at the swap meet occasionally where he would have 8x10 glossy's you could get signed for by him. This was a few years ago as he has passed since then.

It just broke my heart to see this poor old man sitting all by himself and selling pictures of himself when he was a kid and a child star. Especially because people just walked by him without giving him a second glance. It really affected me watching it from a distance.
