I was wondering the same thing. I got one then another because of the size, price and handle material. I want to get one of their stockman patterns but that would be 3 blades to keep clean.
I get caught up in the fancy hi-tech steels sometimes, 01 is tried and true. Easy to sharpen and looks pretty. I am not a big fan of GEC edges. I have rolled everyone that I own. I sharpened it on a simple bench stone and it’s super sharp. That knife has opened 40 popsicles a day (I know real manly) this summer and I could not be more happy. For some reason, I just feel better using that knife than my strider or Sebenza. It just seems more me, like a football game and old pair of Levis..,

Ive been a stainless guy forever. But I love this knife. I can see why patina is such a big deal now. I use mine for everything, kiwi does some neat stuff to the blade.
