NJR I'm loving the size of this knife. Not too large or heavy (4.8oz),
with the thin profile. They are very solidly built. I've been wanting to try out s90v in an edc for a while but every knife I bought there was something about I didn't care for. I'll keep this one.

Just added the USN....Thanks MiG Angel!!!!
Jesus saves.
A king may move a man, a father may claim a son, but that man can also move himself, and only then does that man truly begin his own game. Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone, even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power. When you stand before God, you cannot say, "But I was told by others to do thus," or that virtue was not convenient at the time. This will not suffice.
Either the DB-L or the EB/DB and soon an all black SMF CC with green G10.
I wrapped it today. I think I prefer the wrap to the frags it had on it.
Previous daily carry was the small Sebenza.

HI
I was just curious what a good every day carry work knife would be--doesn't have to be a BIG knife, just sharp and stays sharp to do the sundry little chores in the shop and during the daily walk about. Could be a one-piece (stronger?) or could be a folder What's your take on this?

I think the best small tough knife would be zt350. Amazing knife for the price! There is probably a better place for this question like the factory/production knife sub forum or every day devil carry sub forum.
The best DAMN FORUM period!!

I have to say...i love my 80 dollar and above "nice" knives and im thinking im gonna start carrying my new griptilian 551 around for work. I love the handle and the blade shape is great i "enjoy" carrying it, and since benchmade isnt my favorite company somehow i feel like its alright if i beat on it a little.
HOWEVER, to be honest, a guy i know carrys around a gerber folder he bought for like 25 bux, im sure he doesnt know what steel it is, i probably asked him. But when he needs something done, he slaps that spinelock open with authority and tears pieces of wood out of holes, ect.
My point is, sometimes i envy him and how i wouldnt without thought just use my fucker in the same way he does since he doesnt really care about it. Its kind of nice to be free and really fuck your blade up if it comes to it, and you might not want to do that with something u paid 100 dollars for.
So even tho im gonna use my 80 dollar grip and kind of baby it and use it only for cutting tasks. Honestly, for a working blade, i think a cheapie you wont feel bad about breaking is a pretty cool option if you can stomach carrying something thats not as nice lol.
I have a manix 2 cts-xhp that has seen nearly every day in my pocket for the last year. I have another, NIB clone, just in case. Blade shape for my every day tasks is wonderful too.
I really like my regular small sebenza too. But it is resting while this Spyderco is getting daily duty.
I've become quite fond of the cts-xhp for daily use. Takes a keen edge with little work and keeps a working edge for a long time.

A very generous member of the JD gifted a Kershaw Leek 1660, 2008, knife to me. The steel is Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel.
It's my constant companion daily.
Nothing special, a Gerber 500.
Got a million miles on it..
