    Question about 9/11

Do any of you actually believe any of the conspiricy stories going round about 9/11?

I just stumbled across one of many crazy websites and I was very suprised about the ignorant rambling taking place.

Shocked in fact... seems it was all set up to give a reason for the war against terror... what utter shit.

The three main "arguments" that seem to be banded round were that 1. The aircraft were remote control military aircraft 2. That the twin towers were dropped with explosives. 3. Aircraft fuel fires cannot melt steel.

Its hardly rocket science on my behalf but

    1. The images were plainly civilian airliners and the crew and passengers never came back.

    2. The twin towers collapsed into themselves as the steel structure failed.

    3. Steel looses half its strength at about 1000 degree's?

Why are these people making excuses for the Muslim terrorists? Makes me sick.

Well General, something you have to take into consideration is that any time national tragedy strikes, Pearl Harbor, JFK RFK, and so many others, conspiracy theories run wild, some times there may be merit to them, but they all stem from the inability that we have to accept that such horrific incidents took place, specially in America. I mean I won't lie, I too have come across several pages reguarding conspiracy theories reguarding 9/11. The controlled demolition theories, the auto piloted planes theories, how the government overlooked or even aided and abetted the attacks for personal gain. Now, I don't give these theories long and hard thought because I think they're true, but because as an American I do find it hard to believe that 20 men managed to pull off these attacks and that we knew absolutely nothing about it until it was too late.

I remember when I was a kid watching movies like Red Dawn and Invasion USA, corny movies in retrospect but apparently very real and possible threats at the time. I remember once asking my dad if America would ever be attacked that way and he assured me that our government was very much on its toes and ready for anything and wouldn't let such attacks happen and I always grew up thinking that. When these attacks occurred, it, for lack of a better words, made me second guess my government. Things that ran thru my head were like, "How could this happen ?" "How could we not have stopped it ?" "How come we knew nothing about it ?" "How could 20 guys have hijacked planes and crashed them into government buildings and killed so many people ?" "This is America, were the big bad motherfuckin superpower that no one has the guts to attack." "Something's not right about this at all." It's just human nature. We can't believe it happened to we come up with paranoid conspiracy theories. Some times they make sense, some times they don't. It's all up the beliefs of the person hearing the theories.

    Wink

    *idiots abound*

that is my answer. We were all lulled into thinking they all wanted free rides ala the hijackings of the past.

No one expected this. To even give these loons an air of intelligence is criminal, The General. I know you dont believe the horseshit, but politics aside....idiocy and bleach dont really affect the gene pool.

You know, when you think about it, logically, the idea of a one world government isn't that bad. It's getting the whole world to agree on one thing, now that's a bitch.

I'll bet my life, that of my family's and all the ammo I can scrounge that it will never happen
It is not the Death Rattle in the throat of Western civilization which is surprising: it is the fact that millions of Americans believe that the death rattle is a beautiful song!

That's a great idea. Where did you learn all this logic? TV? Movies? The hood?

    One World Government.

    Interesting.

Hundreds of thousands of Americans have Died since 1776 to preserve Our Soverinty as a Free Nation.

Must have been a Waste of Time.

I definitely Want somebody from Ethiopia voting on My Rights and Life.

    Bunch of Moronic-Idealistic Crap.

Anyone that is for a One World Government is either someone who feels that they will be in the Power Group of Control--or--Someone who has never been to any other Country and see how Screwed up they are--or--They are Weak Minded and Easily Lead.

America is not Perfect but it is still the Best place on Earth to live.

    Hands Down.

    Back on Topic.

Conspiricy Therories will always exist because there are a Ton of Wack Jobs out there.

The Second Reason is that there are a bunch of people here--Americans that for Political Reasons will do or say anything--regardless of the ultimate Consequenses --to regain power for thier Party.

They will Attack and Attack--with Blinders on--just to unseat the party in power. They don't See or Care if thier statements hurt the Country in the Eyes of the World--They only want to Re-gain Power for thier Party.

It happens here and we all have seen it happen in the U.K.

Wackos and Political Chumps are not confined to America,

Uh, I don't see the sarcasm.
I'm going to guess that all of your failures prior to the "revolution" will pale in comparison to how hard your life will be afterward. You will not rise to the occasion. If you can't succeed in a structured, ordered society, you will continue to fail miserably when winning friends and influencing people becomes vitally important.

Nor do I. Then again, those that advocate for one government to rule all would likely backslide on these issues.
